The management platform a firm chooses to rely on for their daily operations quickly becomes fundamental in every aspect of a business. Whether that platform is Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, etc. that choice becomes a nuisance to change if that platform is not leveling up, especially when it comes to a quickly growing firm.

A: The time required to implement property management software depends on the solution and the portfolio. In some instances, you can get up and running in a day. More sophisticated implementations can take months to ensure all your needs are met.

This vague description of an implementation timeline is relatively common between all the major platforms mentioned above. So, a large firm on the hunt to transition out of their current platform, say AppFolio to Yardi, is left to complete disorder for months or dealing with their inadequate platform. Neither option supports firm growth, which is the goal of any business.
