In this post, we'll go over how to generate an API Key for the Artemis Excel Add-In.

Process

  1. Navigation:
    1. Login to Artemis Cloud, and navigate to your user in the top-right of the page.
    2. Click the dropdown, and select Your Profile.
    3. Scroll to the bottom of your profile page to the Advanced Settings section.
    4. Click the link in advanced user details
  2. Generation:
    1. After following the above steps, you'll be looking at the advanced user details page.
    2. In the middle of the screen is the Personal Access Tokens section.
    3. On the right side of the Personal Access Tokens section, click Create Token
    4. Name your token, I like to use my name and the date that I generated the token.
    5. Click Create New Token.
    6. The token will be available for you to copy into your Artemis Excel Add-In or a password manager.
    7. Important: The token will only ever be displayed once. If you lose your token, you'll need to generate a new one.
